Dr. Michelle Danna is originally from Sparrows Point, Maryland. She graduated from Sparrows Point High School as valedictorian in 1990. She attended CCBC Essex for two years, transferring to UMCP.  She was accepted into veterinary school a year early and attended VMRCVM, VA-MD Regional College of Veterinary Medicine, at Virginia Tech.  Since graduating in 1997, Dr. Danna has practiced in several states, including Virginia for six years and Florida for nine years. She returned home, joining our staff in February 2012.

Dr. Danna is an integrative veterinarian. She uses complementary/alternative medicine combined with conventional, mainstream medical therapies. Over the past two decades, she has discovered that her integrative approach promotes quicker response to therapy and a decrease in time of recovery. She started her own holistic practice, Relief Veterinarian Services, eleven years ago, offering several holistic veterinary modalities which includes homeopathic oral therapies, homotoxicology, biopuncture, chiropractic, herbal therapies, essential oils and whole food supplements. These natural treatments are designed to help support the immune system, allowing the body to gently detox itself and provide healing by the pet’s own immune system. Holistic medicine is unique to each patient by providing customized treatments for your pet’s needs.

Dr. Danna was honored with an induction into the Sparrows Point Alumni Hall of Fame on January 7, 2011 for her achievements as a doctor in veterinary medicine.

Dr. Danna enjoys spending time on her boat, fishing, crabbing and water skiing with her two human children, Michael and Cole. She also enjoys camping, hiking and biking.

She has four fur babies, Gator, a miniature schnauzer, Oscar, a rescued brown tabby from BARCS, Rex, a Devon Rex, and Skittles, a diluted green cheek conure.
